Pastor BJ Roberts is a native of Poca, WV. He grew up at Christ Temple Church under the leadership of his spiritual father, Pastor Chuck Lawrence.  Pastor Roberts accepted the call to preach at the age of eighteen years old and received biblical studies training through Freedom Bible College and Seminary. Additionally, he earned an External Studies diploma from World Harvest Bible College and attained a Doctorate of Christian Theology from the International Miracle Institute. He is an ordained Elder and Pastor through One Way Churches International under the covering of Presiding Bishop Lorenzo Hall & Vice Presider Bishop S.Y. Younger. 

He is a musician, singer, songwriter, & recording artist and began ministering in song at the age of seven years old. He and his beautiful wife, Tosha, have been married for 26 wonderful years. They serve together in the ministry and have 5 children, Micaiah, JJ, Nehemiah, Zechariah, & Amiyah.

In April of 2012, Pastor Roberts stepped out in faith, answered the call of God on his life, and founded Kingdom Life Fellowship Church. The ministry flourished and has experienced remarkable spiritual growth among its members in the past 13 years. He has served in other capacities in the church such as keyboardist, worship leader, & choir director which shows his selflessness and dedication to the Lord’s work.  Pastor Roberts states “it is a privilege and passion of mine to serve God & people. My aim is to help individuals grow in their faith and demonstrate what it means truly to love God & love people as our motto states”.

Pastor Roberts is a football fanatic and in his spare time you will find him at a sporting event watching three of his sons play football, two of which play collegiately and one for the NFL. His oldest son, Micaiah volunteers and serves in the music ministry assisting his father as a keyboardist, bassist, singer, and drummer.  Pastor Roberts also enjoys cooking with his babygirl, Amiyah, and attending her high school academic and sporting events. He quotes Proverbs 24:3-4 “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established…” and states, “My first ministry is to my family.  I am only as effective in other areas of ministry when I am effectively serving and meeting the needs of my family.” Shepherding is Pastor Roberts’ passion, and he will continue teaching and preaching God’s word faithfully, serving in the community, & striving to foster a spirit of unity within the body of Christ.
